1. Both The Indicators Are Not Working. One of the most common problem, when one has the issue of car indicators not working in vehicles, is both the turn signals failing to work. The fix for the issue is quite simple. You have to check the bulb through the engine bay of the front and the boot of the rear. You can also do so by removing the lens.

If not I would remove the steering column cowling and disconnect the multi plug from the lights/ indicator stalk switch and see if they still light up. What year is your car, my car is 2003 and I think there's only one bulb in the front indicator on mine.
I have a 2000 BMW 323i with a weird problem. When the turn signals are used, there is no flashing indicator light coming from the dashboard instrument display. The turn signals work properly, both front and rear, but the lights in the dash have stopped working. Any ideas?

The internals are actually quite simple. The LCM really just consists of some power transistors (covered by a heatsink) and a micro-controller. The micro-controller contains both RAM and a custom ROM program preset for the car configuration; the controller can directly drive the outputs and monitor the check inputs.

If you still have your old tank you could pull the sensor out of the new one and see if you can insert it into the old tank while unde the car, then pull the float stick all the way up in the old tank and see if the light goes out then. Would confirm bad target in new tank. 2003 330i TiAg Sport Pkg ~110k miles. Towing a car, especially on a flatbed truck, should not play any role on the symptoms you report. The BRAKE indicator might mean that the level of the brake fluid is low, if true then ABS and DSC would be disabled and the respective lights would be on. ABS and DSC also work by knowing the speed of the tires, if an input from a tire is missing
How to set up your own INPA diagnostics computer for Z3 use (will work for other cars as well): A. Items needed: Windows capable laptop. I generally recommend Windows 7, but it will work fine with Windows XP, 8, 10, and the 'in-betweens'. 32-bit and 64-bit work fine. BMW K+DCAN cable, ideally with a switch. (This will work with most BMWs).

I have a 2001 e46 330ci 170kw. After disconnecting the battery and welding(the welder working clamp was on the exhaust pipe not the body) the muffler the IC is half working i guess. Speedometer is not working, fuel consumption not working, red battery illuminated, red oil illuminated, yellow dsc abs and brake light illuminated, washer fluid low

The extra cost of the alarm, IMHO, isn't worth it. BMWs already come equipped with passive anti-theft features that make the vehicles more difficult to drive off with (although tow-trucks still work great). All the alarm does it make noise--which very few people pay attention to.
1 Answer. SOURCE: BMW Z3 can timeout instr2, instr3 instrument cluster not working. You need to perform a static discharge on the vehicle. Remove both cables from the battery and touch the two cable ends together (you may need a jumper wire) for a few minutes. Reconnect the cables to the battery and check it out. Typically when I experience the issue you’re having is when the airbag light comes on in the dashboard. One of the codes I got was 87: KOMBI K bus and BE KOMBI data filing difference to central light module. __________________. 2014 BMW X5 Sdrive35i F15. 2011 BMW 328i E92 LCI. 2006 BMW Z4 M Roadster E85. cn90. 16090 posts · Joined 2006. #6 · Dec 30, 2010 (Edited) I guess you can remove the SW for inspection, it is easier than most people think. 1.
