Apple is replacing my iPhone : r/iPhone14Pro. iPhone 14 pro battery sucks. Apple is replacing my iPhone. My 14 pro is being replaced through express replacement (with Apple care) for free. It’s annoying that no websites picked this up and it’s not a bigger deal. If it was a Pixel people would’ve ran with this and made a massive issue out
The battery health isn’t linear, for some the battery health will drop way faster than others, depending on a number of things like temperature, fast charging, how long you’ve had the phone. So saying 640 sleep cycles is 72% is not really accurate. I’m at 730 cycles with 83% health. 1.
Consider replacement at 85%. Try a recalibration. Drain battery until it shuts off. Then recharge 100% without using. Then immediately hard reset the phone (Home button & Power button held down 6 seconds). This is recommended procedure by Apple. plazman30 iPhone 14 Pro Max • 5 yr. ago. Thanks for the tip.
Turn on optimised battery charging. Also 4 hours screen time per day is pretty damn good! My iPhone SE 2016 with 78% capacity lasts the entire day on a single charge but it only gets about 1 hour. I had the 2016 SE before , the battery life is definitely better in SE 2020 but I was trying to squeeze a bit more outta it.
Since the pandemic started, I’ve been using my 11 Pro a lot more (chalk that up to working from home). I purchased the phone in late October 2019 and the battery recently dropped to 89% capacity, according to battery stats. Oddly, CoconutBattery shows that it’s at 85.5%, with 300 cycles.
