Ducato '02 is now back from the garage and the bill was half that quoted as they didn't need to remove the gearbox and so the clutch wasn't replaced. A new wiper motor couldn't be sourced from anywhere so the old one was rebuilt and all works fine now. Speed working again after having a new driver/transducer fitted.

Dec 13, 2017. #2. I had a wastegate problem with my 2001 2.8JTD Ducato. The pin the actuator moves had sheared off the wastegate for some reason. I got the local garage to weld on a new pin and it has worked fine since. You can unbolt the actuator and feel the wastegate open and close. It should move easily with one finger.Location. Shortly after buying it I noticed the oil level was higher than it should be so I drained some out to get it back to 'max'. hi all! got a motorhome with 2.8 jtd engine on a '56 plate mileage 20k runs well but came back from 200ml fast run few wks ago and when i went to drive it again would't start. engine turns really fast but injector warning light is on. tested all fuses ok disconected and reconected elec plugs on injectors disconected batt lead 10 mins even
